A man robbed a woman of her money as she was on her way to the bank on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at around 1:00pm.
Dane Curry, 20 years old of Turlock, grabbed hundreds of dollars from a woman by the Farmers & Merchants Bank on Geer Road.
Police were called out by a nearby animal control officer when the woman yelled for help.
Curry caught into a get-a-way vehicle driven by Helena Funk, 40 years old of Twain Harte, and were both eventually caught.
Police arrested the two suspected robbers near Wal-Mart at the Fulkerth and Tully intersection, but not after chasing down a fleeing Dane Curry.
The victim’s money was recovered by the Turlock Police.
