On Saturday, December 24th, 2022, at 7:27 am, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of E Hawkeye Ave and Valley View Dr, Turlock, observed a suspicious vehicle, so he got out with it.

The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s occupant as Anita Mears, 33, of Modesto.

When the officer had his dispatcher run Mears, she returned with two $555,555 misdemeanor bench warrants for possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia. The first one was out of Modesto and the second one was local.

At some point during the contact, Mears was found to be in possession of additional methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia.

Mears was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as her warrants.
