At about 9:12pm Sunday, Turlock Police responded to a shoplifting that had just occurred at dd’s DISCOUNTS in the 600 block of N. Golden State Boulevard.

The caller was security who reported the woman was leaving on foot after threatening him with pepper spray. He was following the woman in a vehicle onto Souza Street and provided a description of her.

Officer Diaz arrived on scene and contacted the woman at Almond Avenue and Souza Street. He identified her as Trianna Colbert, 29, of Turlock.

When Diaz had his dispatcher run Colbert, he discovered she had a $30,000 misdemeanor bench warrant out of Tuolumne County for traffic and narcotics offenses.

The caller didn’t want Colbert arrested for the shoplifting, just trespass admonished.

Colbert was arrested and released on a citation for her warrant.

She was also trespass admonished from the business.
