On Wednesday, April 19th, 2023, at 10:47 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of N Broadway and Julian St, Turlock, observed a driver violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on him.
The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including passenger Heidi Vargas, 42, of Nevada.
When the officer had his dispatcher run the two, he discovered that Vargas had an extraditable warrant out of Nevada for unknown charges.
Vargas was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on her warrant. She will eventually be picked up by Nevada law enforcement and transported back to their state.
