At about 2:22am Friday, Turlock Police Officer Rocha made a traffic stop at Branding Iron Drive and Mark Court.
Rocha made contact with and identified the vehicle’s two occupants, including Marena Nava, 30, of Modesto.
When Rocha had his dispatcher run the two, he discovered Nava had provided an alias and had two bench warrants out of Modesto. The first was a no-bail felony for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, while the second was $6,000 for falsely identifying to a peace officer and possession of methamphetamines. Nava was also on post-release community supervision for burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Nava was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on her warrants.
