On Friday, June 23rd, 2023, at 11:18 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Esperanza Ct and Montana Ave, Turlock, observed a suspicious person in the construction area, so he got out with her.
The officer made contact with and identified the woman as Melissa Brooks, 38, of Turlock.
When the officer had his dispatcher run brooks, he discovered that she had a $3,500 local misdemeanor bench warrant for possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as a $50,000 felony bench warrant out of Tuolumne County for child abuse or endangerment under circumstances likely to produce great bodily harm or death and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brooks was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on her warrants.
