At about 1:43am Monday, Turlock Police Officer Aziz made a traffic stop at Donnelly Park Drive and Earlham Drive.

Aziz made contact with and identified the vehicle’s driver as Ramil Khodiadeh, 28, of Turlock.

When Aziz had his dispatcher run Khodiadeh, he discovered he was on parole for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or person addicted to a narcotic. Khodiadeh also had a felony warrant and four misdemeanor warrants out of Kern and Tuolumne counties totaling $185,000 for charges of buying or receiving a stolen vehicle, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools, driving without a valid license, speeding, seven counts of failure to appear, driving with a suspended license, and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility to a peace officer.

Khodiadeh was arrested and a search incident to arrest led to the discovery of methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia, and a stolen vehicle’s license plate. Various tools and a box full of different-colored wires were also in the vehicle, consistent with auto theft which Khodiadeh has a history of.

Aziz attempted to get a hold of a parole agent for a parole revocation hold, although none answered.

Khodiadeh was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of methamphetamines, buying or receiving stolen property, driving with a suspended license due to a DUI conviction, possession of drug paraphernalia, and his warrants.

Additionally, Khodiadeh’s vehicle was towed.
