At about 12:10am Thursday, Turlock Police Officer Arroyo got out with four suspicious persons at Malek Chiropractic in the 200 block of S. Golden State Boulevard.
Arroyo made contact with and identified the four, including Torgom Ordooshahi, 68, of Turlock, who gave a false name and date of birth 10 years younger than himself.
Everyone was released except Ordooshahi, who officers continued to try to identify.
Eventually, Ordooshahi’s true identity was discovered and he returned with a $25,000 local misdemeanor bench warrant for battery. He was also on searchable probation for the same charge.
When confronted, Ordooshahi continued to lie until being positively identified through a prior booking photo.
This wasn’t Ordooshahi’s first time lying to officers, but rather his third time that’s been confirmed. The prior time was to the same officer, while the first was to a different one. Each time Ordooshahi provided a completely false last name, but a very similar first name and date of birth to his actual one.
Ordooshahi was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of falsely identifying to a peace officer and his warrant.
