At about 11:16pm Wednesday, Turlock Police Officer Marquez got out with a suspicious person at the Park Street Apartments in the 1100 block of Park Street.
Marquez had recognized Nathan Candelaria, 18, of Turlock, and knew he was wanted.
Candelaria had also previously run from different officers, so he was detained at gunpoint.
Candelaria was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of robbery, battery, and theft.
