Walnut Elementary Education Center will present its spring musical, Little Mermaid Jr., at 6 p.m. March 27 and 28.

Tickets for the musical are $5 each and can be purchased at the Walnut Elementary office, located at 4219 N. Walnut Rd. in Turlock.

All proceeds benefit Walnut’s Theater Fund.

Kindergarten teacher Susan Allen reports students in grades 2 to 6 have been working hard on the play since early January, learning their lines, musical arrangements, songs and dances.

“We have had parents who have helped with costumes, set designs and props. This year’s production will be one not to miss,” she said.
