On Thursday, April 21st, 2022, at 11:04 pm, the Turlock Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire at Ayala’s Body Shop, 510 Lander Ave, Turlock.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they located a fully involved white Kia sedan parked on the sidewalk in front of the business.

Firefighters worked in the offensive strategy and were able to quickly bring the fire under control and extinguish it, preventing it from spreading to anything nearby.

Firefighters found some items lying on the passenger seat of the vehicle that they deemed suspicious, so the Turlock Police Department was asked to respond to investigate.

The cause of the fire remains unknown.

No injuries were reported.
