On Monday, September 12th, 2022, at 5:22 pm, Turlock Police investigators near the 200 block of E Tuolumne Rd, Turlock, spotted one of the outstanding suspects from the homicide that had occurred on Friday, September 9th, 2022, at the intersection of Lander Ave and Bernell Ave.
Investigators, along with detectives and officers, were able to arrest David Rivera Cruz, 30, of Turlock, without incident.
Cruz was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury.
Despite the relentless efforts of the Turlock Police Department, the final remaining suspect of the three, Alfonso Garcia, 23, of Turlock, remains on the loose. The Turlock Police Department asks for your assistance in locating Garcia. If he is spotted, immediately call police. Do not approach him as he is considered dangerous.
