On Wednesday, December 7th, 2022, at 3:36 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery near Valentine’s Auto Body & Repair, 1252 Lander Ave, Turlock.
Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the victim, who told them that the incident had occurred 15 minutes prior to him reporting it. As he was walking northbound on the sidewalk near the business, a vehicle pulled in front of him and two occupants exited it. One of them pointed a gun at him and the two took his property, before they both got back into the vehicle and fled northbound on Lander Ave.
The vehicle was described to be a 2002 to 2005 model year red Dodge Ram 1500, and the two robbers were simply described as black men.
Officers checked the area for the vehicle and the suspects, however, were unable to locate either.
