On Sunday, December 18th, 2022, at 4:43 pm, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Park St and N First St, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.
The officer made contact with and identified the vehicle’s three occupants, including driver Lowell Oldenburg, 49, of Tracy, and passenger April Croy, 33, of Turlock.
At some point during the stop, Oldenburg was determined to be in possession of ammunition and Croy was determined to be in possession of brass knuckles. Oldenburg is a convicted felon and thus is prohibited from possessing ammunition.
Both Oldenburg and Croy were arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center, Oldenburg on charges of possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and Croy on charges of possession of metal knuckles.
