At about 8:28pm Saturday, Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense in progress at FoodMaxx in the 1800 block of Countryside Drive.
The caller reported several subjects were fighting, one of which possibly had a weapon.
Officers quickly arrived on scene and detained two subjects, later identified as Keone Rescili, 27, of Turlock, and Evan Guerrero, 22, of Turlock.
Through the investigation, it was determined no weapons were used. Multiple witnesses stated that the fight had started after Rescili and Guerrero had assaulted the victim, while they were spewing racist comments.
Rescili and Guerrero were both arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of conspiracy and committing a hate crime.
