The Turlock Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Crane School site, 1100 Cahill Ave.

In a very light agenda the meeting will consist of one informational topic, albeit a very large one – facilities and modernization projects. Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Mike Trainor will deliver an informational presentation to the board about progress on current and future projects throughout the district.

Several schools modernization projects, funded by 2006 general obligation bonds, remain to be completed. Also, there are numerous one-time projects such as the Ag Farm on Taylor Road.

The board will also recognize Tami Muniz for her tenure as a member of the board in a short presentation at the beginning of the meeting. Muniz was defeated in the recent election.
