A suspicious vehicle fire at a Turlock Unified School District parking lot on July 10 is currently under investigation by authorities.

Turlock fire crews responded to a fire in the 1400 block of Colorado Avenue around 10 p.m. Friday.

A TUSD lunch van was found burned in the secured parking lot on Colorado Avenue, reported the Turlock Fire Department.

The vehicle’s interior was badly burned, said the Turlock Fire Department.

Fire crews were on scene for approximately two hours to extinguish and investigate the fire, which has been deemed suspicious.

The fire is currently under investigation and there are no known suspects at this time, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.
