The Turlock Police Department Street Crimes Unit were looking for a known parolee at large, Joshua Lane Reynolds, on Saturday at around 9:30pm at 334 N. Broadway. When contact was made at this address, several people were encountered as were weapons.
The SWAT and Hostage Negotiations teams were dispatched. Negotiations were unsuccessful and SWAT made entry in a nine hour standoff. Tear gas was used when people in the Broadway apartment turned off the lights, got weapons, and would not come out.
Enrique Chavez (29yrs), Joshua Reynolds (26yrs), Rigoberto Franco (31yrs), Tasha Curtice (23yrs), Daniel Neill (24yrs), and Roberto Torres (27yrs) were all arrested during the investigation.
All suspects were from Turlock and faced various charges. All were released by Sunday night except for Joshua Reynolds and Tasha curice who remained in custody.
