On Tuesday morning Turlock police contacted a subject sleeping on a bench and subsequently found that he had multiple active warrants.

While in the area of Thor and Main streets, officers found the man, later identified as Richard Cardoza, 34, according to the Turlock Police Department.

When officers contacted Cardoza sleeping on the bench, it was revealed that he had several active warrants.

Cardoza was arrested and booked for the warrants.
