TURLOCK, CA – On Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at approximately 12:18 p.m. Turlock Police received a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at Longs Drug Store in the 2400 block of Geer Road.
The suspect is described as a white male adult 20-25 years, approximately 5’11 to 6’1 feet tall, weighing 180-190 pounds. This individual matches the description of the suspect known as the “Bandaid Bandit.”
The lone suspect entered the store, approached a clerk, and displayed a black revolver. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the store. This makes more than twenty robberies that can be attributed to the “Bandaid Bandit” throughout the Central Valley area. The victim businesses range from fast food establishments to retail businesses. No one reported any injuries as a result of this most recent incident.
The suspect was last seen running southbound on foot from the store. Turlock Police Investigators are working closely with other area law enforcement agency investigators to identify this individual.
