Turlock firefighters are seeking the help of any and all high school students in Turlock to design the 2015 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign t-shirt.

Since 2012, Turlock Firefighters – Local #2423 have worn pink shirts during the month of October to help raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. Throughout the whole month of October, Turlock firefighters wear and sell specially designed shirts.

The funds raised by firefighters during the month all go directly to the Bill and Elsie Ahlem Cancer Endowment, which benefits members of the local community battling cancer.

Turlock Firefighters – Local #2434 is asking local high school students to join the campaign this year by designing the logo for October’s pink t-shirt.

The winning logo will be selected by members of Local #2434 and used as the logo for the 2015 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign t-shirt, which will be worn by Turlock firefighters and sold to the public to raise funds for the cancer endowment.

Designs should be fire service themed, including such items as a maltese cross and pink cancer awareness ribbon, and a feature a themed slogan for this year’s campaign. Logo designs should be no more than four colors.

Students can submit their logo design to their school office by 3 p.m. on May 8.
