The Turlock Fire Department responded and contained multiple small grass fires on East Glenwood Avenue Thursday afternoon.

According to Turlock Fire Chief Tim Lohman, fires broke out in grassy areas along East Glenwood Avenue on each side of Baywood Lane.

The fires were small and contained by 3:30 p.m.

No injuries have been reported in the fires as the cause of the fires is unknown at this time.
