Turlock fire crews quickly extinguished a fire that broke out at an occupied residence on Porsche Strasse Wednesday evening.
At 5:24 p.m., the Turlock Fire Department responded to the 2800 block of Porsche Strasse to find a bedroom in a the residence “well involved” in flames.
The home was occupied when the fire broke out, but all occupants were out of the home and uninjured when fire crews arrived.
Fire crews were able to get the fire under control within 15 minutes, with overhaul taking approximately 2 hours.
The residence suffered fire damage to one room, with smoke damage to parts of the home.
The Turlock Fire Department determined the cause of the fire to be electrical in nature.
Two residents of the home were displaced and will be staying with relatives.
