Turlock Downtown’s Patriotic Parade and American Legion Independence Celebration are looking to continue the success of this now traditional holiday event.
Tony Cabral has been selected as the Parade Marshall, the parade’s 60 entry spots have been filled up, last year’s 30 vendors turned into at least 45 this year, and the pre-registered car show entries have increased up to 70.
The Patriotic Parade will be held in historic downtown Turlock on Main Street. The parade will begin at 10:00am and travel from Palm Street to Broadway Avenue.
Along with the parade, there will be an American Legion Independence Celebration complete with a classic car show, music, kids play area, family stage, and craft & food vendors. The celebration will begin after the parade with opening ceremonies starting at 11:00am. The street festival is from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
Although the Patriotic Parade does not have anymore open spots, a waiting or overflow list is being formed. Contact TDPOA Executive Director Trina Walley if you have any questions regarding this 4th of July event. Parade entries include:
