Motorists traveling in the area of N. Walnut Road and Christoffersen Parkway should be advised of a collision affecting traffic.

The multi-vehicle collision has N. Walnut Road at the Christoffersen Parkway intersection closed in both direction. Traffic is being diverted from N. Walnut Road onto Christoffersen Parkway.

Eastbound traffic on Christoffersen Parkway has been reduced to one lane and westbound traffic has no left turn at the intersection.

The collision left one vehicle stuck on the concrete island in front of Turlock Junior High School.

Turlock and University police are on scene as of 7:55 p.m. and AMR and Turlock fire responded to the collision.

The cause of the collision and any injuries are unknown at this time.
