On Saturday, March 26th, 2022, at 3:32 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries in the 2500 block of East Ave, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found three vehicles involved. One was a white Ram pickup truck that was rolled over and on its side. The descriptions of the other two vehicles are currently unknown. They were parked and unoccupied.
The white Ram pickup truck had two occupants, an adult and a toddler. They were both trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. The adult suffered major injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital. The toddler suffered no injuries but was airlifted by PHI Air Medical Services to a regional hospital as a precautionary measure.
The white Ram pickup truck sustained major damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away. The extent of damages sustained by the other two vehicles are currently unknown.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
