On Saturday, November 12th, 2022, at 1:59 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Countryside Dr and W Monte Vista Ave, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved. The first one was a Ford SUV and the second one was a Toyota sedan.
There were a total of five people involved, of which one suffered moderate injuries, two suffered minor injuries, and two didn’t suffer any injuries. At least two people were ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.
At least one of the vehicles was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away.
It’s currently unknown how exactly the collision occurred, however, one of the original callers told dispatchers that one of the involved vehicles had attempted to beat the traffic light. If that’s actually what occurred, it remains unclear which vehicle it was.
