On Wednesday, October 19th, 2022, at 12:12 am, the Turlock Fire Department, Modesto Fire Department, Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigations Unit, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported residential working structure fire at a residence in the 4000 block of Donovan Way, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found a two story single family dwelling with a fire on the second floor that had extended to the roof and attic.
Crews began fire attack in the offensive strategy and were able to bring the fire under control within about 30 minutes, extinguishing it shortly thereafter.
Firefighters remained on scene for an extended period of time after the fire was out conducting overhaul, investigation, and other post fire activities.
The Turlock Irrigation District and Pacific Gas and Electric Company responded to the scene to secure utilities, while the Modesto Fire Department and Turlock Rural Fire Protection District provided city coverage for the duration of the incident.
No injuries were reported, however, two adults and one child were displaced as a result of the fire. The American Red Cross responded to provide assistance to them.
The cause and origin of the fire remain unknown.
