A 36-year-old male was arrested by Turlock police on suspicion of threatening 17-year-old male victim with a knife on March 19.
Alejandro Romo Morales, 36, was arrested for felony child abuse, criminal threats, and brandishing.
Turlock police responded to the 1200 block of Lamberway after receiving a report of a fight at approximately 6:44 p.m. on March 19, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.
When officers arrived on scene, they confirmed that Morales and a 17-year-old male victim had been in a physical confrontation.
During the course of the confrontation, Morales grabbed a knife and threatened the victim, said Lewis.
Morales was taken into custody without further incident.
The victim was injured in the altercation, but they were non-life-threatening.
