Turlock police are looking for suspect that stole the wallet from a 78-year-old woman shortly after noon on Wednesday.

At approximately 12:15 p.m., a 78-year-old woman was walking home from the bank with her wallet and purse in hand, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.

The suspect, a young male, came up beside the victim while near the intersection of Hawkeye Avenue and Geer Road and snatched the victim’s wallet, said Webb.

After the theft, the suspect fled the from the area.

The suspect was described as a young male who was seen wearing a white jacket and brown pants.
