An 18-year-old female was cited on Monday for allegedly “keying” the vehicle of a victim she confronted.

A female subject, later identified as Anna Sanchez, 18, went to a residence on the 1100 block of Pedras Avenue to confront the victim, who had allegedly been spreading rumors about Sanchez, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

While Sanchez was leaving the residence, she allegedly “keyed” the vehicle of the victim.

After the victim found that their vehicle had been damaged, authorities reviewed video surveillance and found the subject. The victim identified the subject as Sanchez.

Sanchez was located and cited for vandalism.
