A male subject is facing possession of narcotics for sale charges after being contacted while Turlock police were conducting a welfare check on Saturday night.
Officers responded to the 3800 block of Verona Avenue at approximately 8:44 p.m. on March 14 for welfare check of a female resident.
According to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, the resident was found to be safe, however officers contacted a male subject at the scene.
Turlock police contacted Owen McDonald, 26, who was found in possession of heroin and illegal possession of Oxycodone, said Lewis.
McDonald was arrested for possession of narcotics for sale, due to the way the narcotics were packaged and other evidence found on scene, said Lewis.
