A subject was arrested on Sept. 16 at a 99 Cents Only Store after being placed on citizen’s arrest by the store’s security.
Turlock police responded to the 99 Cents Only Store, located at 701 N. Golden State Blvd., at approximately 8:27 p.m. on the report of a theft.
The store’s security had placed a female subject, Marissa Zabala, 25, under citizen’s arrest for theft.
Officers investigating the incident had determined that Zabala had entered the store with the intent to steal, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.
Zabala was arrested and booked on commercial burglary.
