Turlock police arrested a suspect who allegedly fled from the scene of an injury accident on Saturday night.

Officers responded to the intersection of Marshall Street and Golden State Boulevard at 7:27 p.m. on the report of a hit and run.

A suspect, later identified as Mariano Marmolejo, 39, allegedly fled the scene after an accident.

At least one occupant of the other vehicle was injured, but the injuries were minor, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.

No additional details of the accident were available.

Officers were able to later located Marmolejo in the area of Franks Court and Tuolumne Road.

Marmolejo was arrested for felony hit and run.
