Turlock police arrested a man for public intoxication on Friday night after he was seen chasing after moving vehicles on A Street.

Officers responded to a safety issue on the 100 block of A Street when a subject was reported running in and out of traffic at roughly 9:26 p.m., said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.

The Turlock Police Department reported that the subject, Manuel Machado, 54, was “charging” after moving vehicles.

Machado was found to be intoxicated when contacted by officers.

Machado was arrested for public intoxication.
