TURLOCK - A panel of student and faculty panelists will discuss “Obama at 100 Days” on Wednesday, April 29 as part of a Campus Dialogue series at California State University, Stanislaus.
Free and open to the public, the program featuring three student panelists and three faculty members is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. in the Carol Burke Lounge of the University Union Building. CSU Stanislaus is located at One University Circle, on Monte Vista Avenue in Turlock.
Graduate student Terri Lundt will serve as moderator during the fifth in a series of dialogue programs co-sponsored by the University’s Associated Students, Housing and Residential Life, Faculty in Residence Program, Faculty Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and Student Leadership and Development. Audience participation will be encouraged.
Student panelists Tessa McIntyre, Emily Cimino, and Mehran Khodabaneh will debate the pros and cons of President Obama’s first 100 days in office with faculty members Dr. Betsy Eudey, Gender Studies Professor and Faculty Development Center Director; Dr. David Colnic of the Public Administration faculty; and Dr. Eungsuk Kim of the Economics faculty.
Previous topics of the Dialogue series that started three years ago to bring faculty and students together to discuss current issues have included higher education and popular culture, immigration, technology, and civic engagement.
