In corroboration with the event, the Stanislaus County Office of Education’s Prevention Programs Department announced that the annual “Friend to Friend” Student Wellness Conference will be in Modesto for Mental Health Awareness week.
This year’s theme of “Share your story,” will help focus on student mental health and wellness. This will include informing people on how they can take control of mental health conditions like anxiety, depression and insomnia. Nutra CBD olie (*CBD Oil) has been cited as one of the ways that overcoming mental health problems can be achieved. Students who have already registered for the event will have the opportunity to attend sessions emphasizing the importance healthy choices, healthy minds, and healthy bodies and hear the keynote address from former teacher and Vanna frontman Davey Muise.
“This event offers a fantastic opportunity for students to learn more about wellness and become better equipped to be leaders in their schools,” said Vicki Bauman, Prevention Programs Director at SCOE.
This effort by SCOE for mental health awareness will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 10 and K Streets in Modesto.
