A Special Turlock City Council Meeting has been called for Monday, January 31, 2011 at 6pm at City Hall with the only agendized item stated as “Strategic Planning Discussion.”
The Turlock City Council held a Special Meeting on November 29, 2010 over dinner provided by Turlock City Manager Roy Wasden and Turlock City Attorney Phaedra Norton at the Turlock Chamber of Commerce. “New Council Orientation” was stated at the agenda item but rather appeared as a team building session focusing more on communication, personality issues, and what turned out to be a heavily discussed issue, the City of Turlock Elected Officials Code of Conduct.
A continuance of the November 29, 2010 meeting was planned for January 31, 2011 at City Hall. Future discussion was to include behavioral profiling from a computer test, goal setting, and prioritizing what some may feel will be important projects.
Whether the continued discussion topics from the November 29, 2010 Special Meeting will be covered in the January 31, 2011 Special Meeting is not clear although the agenda packet includes the 2007-09 City of Turlock Strategic Plan.
The City’s Strategic Plan is comprised of content including the Vision for Turlock, Vision Statement, Purpose of the Strategic Plan, Goals/Action, Executive Summary, Strategic Plan 2007-09, and Strategic Plan Implementation.
