On Thursday, January 13th, 2022, at 10:34 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Bargain Cigarette, 1669 Lander Ave, Turlock.

Officers got on scene and checked the area for the suspect after being given a description of him by the caller, however, were unable to locate him.

Officers made contact with the victim who told them at an unknown Hispanic male had entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded currency from him. The victim complied and gave the suspect an disclosed amount of currency, at which point the suspect fled the area on a black mountain bike.

The investigation remains on-going.
