On Sunday, September 5th, 2021, at 10:15 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Stanislaus State Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of W Christofferson Pkwy and Crowell Rd, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located two vehicles involved. One was a gray Hyundai sedan and the other was a red Hyundai sedan. The red Hyundai sedan was flipped and on its roof. Its driver, who was its only occupant, sustained minor injuries and refused to be transported. The driver of the gray Hyundai sedan, who was also its only occupant, did not sustain any injuries.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
Both vehicles sustained major damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision. They were both towed away.
This is the second collision at this intersection within the two weeks.
