Turlock schools will conclude their 2010-2011 school year with their last day of school on Friday, May 27, honoring their newly graduated students.
California State University, Stanislaus will be holding their Commencement Ceremonies in the University Amphitheatre on Friday, May 27. The ceremony for the Colleges of Business Administration, Human and Health Sciences, and Natural Sciences will begin at 7:30 a.m. The ceremony for the Colleges of The Arts, Education, and Humanities and Social Sciences will begin at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are not required to attend and seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Parking on campus is free, and will be directed by Public Safety Officers to the most accessible lots. Expect traffic delays around the campus as the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships are also taking place at CSU, Stanislaus.
Turlock and Pitman High School will be holding their graduation ceremonies on Friday, May 27. Turlock High School’s ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Joe Debley Stadium, and Pitman High School will be holding their ceremony on at 7:00 p.m. at the Pitman Amphitheatre. Tickets for the high school ceremonies have already been distributed to the students, and are necessary to attend. Turlock Christian High School will also be holding their graduation ceremony in the MVC Worship Center at 6:45 p.m.
Turlock Junior High School will also be holding ceremonies for the second half of their eighth grade graduates Friday afternoon. The Cheetah Team Promotion Ceremony will be held at 12:45 p.m. and the Bengal Team Promotion Ceremony will begin at 3:15 p.m. in the TJHS Cafeteria.
