At about 7:44pm Sunday, Turlock Police responded to a trespass in progress at Target in the 300 block of Countryside Drive.

The caller reported that Robert Dominguez, 48, of Turlock, was in the business after having been previously trespass admonished and it appeared he was preparing to steal.

While officers were still enroute, loss prevention confronted Dominguez and detained him.

Officer Rocha arrived on scene and contacted Dominguez.

It was determined Dominguez had stolen just over $100 worth of merchandise and loss prevention signed a citizen’s arrest.

Dominguez was arrested and released on a citation for petty theft.

Additionally, Dominguez was reminded of his trespass admonishment.
