Information is being anonymously sent to TurlockCityNews.com reporting that city meetings have been taking place telling employees that job cuts are going to be proposed at the Budget Workshop to be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
The Building Department appears to be hit the hardest according to initial rumors.
The proposed City Budget for 2009-10 should be a public document by the end of today and it will be uploaded to TurlockCityNews.com with clarification.
