This Saturday, professional wrestling is taking over the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds as the “Idolos de la Lucha Libre” come together for a Pro Wrestling Revolution event.
Lucha Libre is a form of professional wrestling that is highly popular in Spanish-speaking countries such as Mexico. The sport is typically characterized by the colorful masks worn by the wrestlers during matches. In some cases, the losing Luchador (fighter) must permanently remove his or her mask as a wager. Additionally, tag team wrestling is highly prevalent in the popular sport.
Saturday’s event will feature the following matches:

The event will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds, located at 900 N. Broadway in Turlock. Tickets range from $10 to $40, and can be purchased either online at www.luchalibreturlock2013.eventbrite.com or at the door.
