At about 5:19pm Saturday, Turlock Police, Turlock Fire, and American Medical Response responded to a traffic collision with injuries in front of a residence in the 600 block of Sunnybrook Circle.

When units arrived on scene, they found that the driver of a 2019 Toyota Camry had struck a four-year-old boy who’d been riding a scooter.

The boy suffered minor injuries but was airlifted by PHI Air Medical Services to a regional children’s hospital as a precautionary measure.

It’s currently unknown how the collision occurred.
