A possible pipe bomb was found in the 1100 block of E. Marshall Street on Monday morning, reports Turlock police.
The possible bomb was discovered at approximately 8:05 a.m. Monday and Turlock police and Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad responded to the area, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.
Residents in the area received a robocall telling them to stay inside during the investigation and police had a portion of E. Marshall Street blocked off.
The device was taken by the bomb squad and it is unknown at this time if it was real or fake, said Webb.
Authorities cleared the area around 10:30 a.m.
There are no suspects at this time.
