At about 3:39am Saturday, Turlock Police Officer Arroyo heard the sound of shots fired in Downtown Turlock.
Arroyo was in the front parking lot of the Turlock Public Safety Facility when he heard four or five shots, possibly rifle rounds.
A minute later, two separate callers from the 700 block of E. Main Street reported that the shots had come from a party on the same block as them, and that there was a large fight.
Officers had responded to a noise disturbance at the party a few hours prior and had observed several gang members present.
As officers arrived on scene, they contacted several juveniles who were seen leaving the area. One of the juveniles reported she was the victim of a battery.
There were no shell casings or other evidence of a shooting located at the party, and no injuries were reported.
Several of the partygoers were drunk and underage juveniles, so officers had to facilitate their safe return home.
One of the juveniles, a 17-year-old girl, was arrested. She and another girl were transported to the Public Safety Facility, where their parents picked them up.
