Police Looking for Shooting Suspect, Considered Armed and Dangerous

Turlock Police Department sent out a press release that a male shooting suspect is on the loose and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Central Valley TV first reported that the suspect allegedly fired on another man who was driving a stolen vehicle early Friday morning.

Police responded to the 2600 block of Porsche Strasse Road at about 12:30 a.m. for a report of gunshots heard in the area. Arriving police officers found an adult male suffering a gunshot wound. He was later transported to a hospital. His injury was considered not life threatening.

Through the investigation, officers determined that the vehicle the victim was driving was stolen.

Police identified 28 year old Anthony Fuentes as a suspect in the case. He is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm at an occupied vehicle, and using a firearm for the commission of a crime.

Authorities are asking for anyone who may have information regarding Fuentes' whereabouts to call 911 immediately. Authorities say he is considered armed and dangerous as the weapon used in the shooting was not found.

Police ask anyone who may see the suspect to not approach or attempt to make contact.
