The Pitman High School Marching Band invites the public to get their recycle on for a groovy cause during a free e-waste/ recycling fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday in the school parking lot, located at 2525 W. Christoffersen Pkwy.
Residents can drop off any e-waste, including basically anything that can be plugged in or holds batteries. In addition, people can drop off cardboard, newspaper, aluminum cans, glass bottles, PET plastic bottles, tin and metal. Shredding is available for office paper.
All drop-off donation proceeds will benefit the PHS Marching Band. The event is sponsored by American Recycling.
