At about 4:34pm Saturday afternoon, Officer Aziz noticed a suspicious person in the 100 block of N. Tully Road and got out with them.

Aziz identified the person as Tommie Smith, 39, of Turlock, and had his dispatcher run them. It was discovered that Smith had a no-bail felony bench warrant out of Stanislaus County for elder abuse.

Smith was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on their warrant.
